Gem Genie

The Gem Genie is a brand new NPC that was added with part 2 of the Summer Fair Event update in Mining Simulator 2.

The Gem Genie portal is located on the surface of The Overworld to the left of the Rocket. To gain access to him you must first mine 100m blocks. The portal will not unlock until you reach the blocks mined requirement.

Quest Rewards

There are new quests available at the Gem Genie which grant gems upon completion.

The quests you can currently complete at the Gem Genie are:

• Ore Hunter: Mine 210 Fossils & 350 Bones (2,500 gems)
• Ore Searcher: Mine 175 Silver & 150 Gold (5,000 gems)
• Ore Professional: Mine 350 Diamonds, 225 Mythril & 150 Fire Shards (6,250 gems)
• Ore Specialist: Mine 350 Emeralds, 145 Rubies & 130 Sapphires (9,000 gems)
• Ore Obsession: Mine 650 Fire Shards, 350 Unobtanium, 250 Chromite & 100 Larimar (17,000 gems)
• Pro Excavator: Mine 95m blocks & 450 Copper (7,000 gems)
• Super Excavator: Mine 250m blocks & 550 Gold (10,000 gems)
• Ultra Excavator: Mine 320m blocks & 650 Diamonds (6,650 gems)
• Legendary Hatcher: Hatch 75 Legendary pets (10,000 gems)
• Pro Hatcher: Open 3,000 eggs, hatch 250 Epic pets & 100 Legendary pets (10,500 gems)
• Super Hatcher: Open 3,500 eggs, hatch 300 Epic pets, 500 unique pets & 1,250 common pets (11,000 gems)
